RBR50 / RBS50 / UK / Virgin meda - Satellite drops connection
I have a RBR50 connected to my virgin media router, with a sattelite positioned at the opposite corner of the house, the satellite connects ok and gives me 100mb download speeds which is perfect, but...
So i have now set my VM router to router mode, and set my orbi to AP mode.
The rbr50 now randomly disconnects from the router, i see this in the logs:

and the device is a solid pink colour.
When the rbr50 disconnects, i quickly connect my laptop to the ethernet cable to test it and it connects ok.
Does anyone know what else i can try to help with this?

If I were you I would get rid (if possible) of whatever other 'router' you have and run the Orbi/sats by themselves.
In this forum there are lots of reported problems being reported by folks who try to run 2 routers.
Im not sure i can replace, as the virgin media hub 3 uses a coaxial connection (i think its called that) whereas that doesnt exist on the orbi router, i did have the VM router in modem mode and the orbi in router mode, but i swapped it to see if that was causing me the issues.

You may need to get a new seperate modem. I would check with your ISP to see what works with their system.
