RBR50 & RBS50 firmware update problems

I updated my RBS50 to firmware 2.7.1.60. When I look for a new firmware on the RBR50, it says no update available, even though it has 2 updates available for download. It’s on firmware 2.5.2.4. How c...

How can I update if the app says it’s current?

Go to the Netgear support web site, download the 2.7.1.60 firmware for the RBR50, "unzip" to extract the ".img" file.

Connect a web browser to the Orbi web interface (http://orbilogin.net), log in using the admin credentials "admin" and the password (not the WiFi password).

Browse to the Advanced Tab, Administration, Firmware Update, and select the "Manual" tab.

Follow the directions to select the ".img" file on your computer.
