RBR50 Bricked with Ethernet Port issue

I have a bricked RBR50 and am unable to update the firmware via TFTP.

I reset it, hooked up a serial connection to the JTAG port, but none of the ports tell the laptop that the port is active.

Any idae how to "turn on" the LAN ports? None of the internal commands seem appropriate.
