Rbr50 dropping intermittently

What is the mfr and model# of the ISP modem?
Factory reset the Orbi router and set up from scratch. Do not enable the speedtest app on the router, nor enable traffic meter or access control. These will slow speeds on a 1Gb service...
- I would like to him the orbi Rbr50 direct to the centurylink main box. They did give me a modem/router that they hooked up to their box but I am paying for 1000mb and through their modem I am only getting 50mb. If I connect my orbi direct to thdur box and disconnect their router i am getting about 600mb. The problem is that it keeps cutting out service. When setting up orbi should I do ap or router mode?
Modem Combo Units:
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, LAN to LAN and configure AP mode on the Orbi router.
