What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Is this happening over wired and wireless devices?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or may not be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Traffic Meter, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set CTS to 2347. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Hitron Modem model EN2251
Internet provider: Spectrum - The report seeing intermittent disconnects from the RBR50 as they see it trying to reconnect.
Happening over wired devices: MacBook Pro (satellite) and AppleTV Gen4 (base)
2200 sq ft. home (2 floors plus basement - no devices in basement)
Satellite is about 30ft from base.
WiFi isn't an issue as disconnects are affecting mainly wired devices.
I've pretty much tried everything you've asked and no resolution. Been told by others its a firmware issue and the new firmware version in beta testing fixes the issue. Is there a new version for the RBR50/RBS?

You can try this and see:

I recommend a factory reset and setup from scratch after it's installed.
Power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute as well when you reset the RBR.

I installed the new firmware and did the reset and I'm still dropping connections all over the place. Spectrum won't help because the Orbi model is not an approved router.
Any other thoughts?

So with out the RBS turned ON, the RBR still drops internet connection with the modem?
Does the top ring turn ON when this happens?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
