RBR50 getting >300Mbs in but only ~70 Mbs out wired or wireless
We were getting Wifi speeds of >300Mbs out of our Orbi RBR50 & RBS50 with latest firmware (v2.7.4.24) from our Optimum Arris TM1602 modem until 3 weeks ago when the Wifi speed out from the Orbi drop...
I'd suggest starting with that modem. Its a pretty old, base model docsis 3.0 device.
connect a pc/laptop directly to it and test the speeds off the modem
Did that before posting. We get the 300+mbs that we are supposed to gets and that we're getting into the Orbi.
and you hit full wired speeds on the orbi?
the 70mbps is about all you can expect from 2.4ghz as its a slow network but you should get full 300+ from wired and potentially from the 5ghz.

Please update your FW to version 2.7.5.4 then factory reset your RBR50 and verify network speeds through an ethernet connection.
