RBR50 in AP mode - change LAN settings
I have an RBR50 (+2 satellites) in AP mode. I need to update the LAN settings ( change the subnet mask, gateway ) since I'm renumbering my network. The LAN setup (in Advanced Settings) is grayed out and I can't go into it. Is there a way I can update the LAN settings *without* setting the RBR50 back into router mode?

When any router (including Netgear Orbi) is in Access Point (AP) mode, the IP subnet is defined by the upstream router, not the one in AP mode. That is why the settings are not active.
Whatever you do to the upstream router will be automatically applied to the Orbi and every device connected to it. Just do whatever you want and then reboot the Orbi.

If your setting up new networking settings, if you configured the RBR50 for AP mode using Dynamic IP addressing, then after you change the networking on the host router, just reboot the RBR and RBS or power the system OFF for 30 seconds then back ON. The RBR and RBS should get the new network configuration.
If you set static IP address configuration on the RBR for AP mode, then you'll need to navigate to Advanced Tab/Advanced/Router mode/AP mode then set the new static networking configuration there.
