RBR50 is showing 2 2.4GHz SSID and 2 5GHz SSID

Hello,

RBR50 is showing 2 2.4GHz SSID and 2 5GHz SSID, 1 secured and 1 unsecured. How to get rid of the unsecured SSID. I have one Satellite, the router in basement and satellite is in the first floor, but very frequently (within 1 hour, every 5 minutes) the satelllite is losing signal from router. How to fix the backhaul issue?

Thanks

First off where are you seeing this?

When I run across this it's usually the device that is seeing the unsecured wifi. A shut down and restart usually fixes it.

The backhaul issue may be because the satellite is too far from the router or you have interference. Does it show a good connection in the GUI or app?

      Helllo,

I am seing the 2 SSID's secure and unsecured on all the devices, in the open available wireless network.

Will simple shut down and restart will fix or I need to do factor reset is required?

The distance between the router and satellite should be 20 feet. The router is open living room downstair and satellite in upstair living room and there is not wall inbetween.

      Thanks

Are there 2 SSIDs for both 2.4 a 5G? I would try a restart as it may fix it. It always goes away on laptops I work on when it's showing up.
