RBR50 Orbi wifi works, ethernet stopped working
Was away from my home for a new days, and my router suddenly became unreachable (Circle reported it as offline, could not log into my Arlo cameras). When I was able to physically troubleshoot it, it ...

Was able to fix the setup by unplugging all ethernet devices from the satellite and basestation, plugging in just the Arlo, reserving that IP for the Arlo, then plugging back in the rest of the ethernet devices.

Tried plugging ethernet of my desktop into ethernet on one of my Orbi satellites, and that works for my desktop. Did this to confirm no issues on the desktop side, and no issue with the ethernet ports on the satellites. However, it's not an ideal situation because I had to move the satellite right next to the regular Orbi basestation, and I need the satellite in the other part of the house. Not sure if this information helps.

Another observation; the following setup worked for the desktop: only modem plugged into the base station, only desktop plugged in to the satellite. I noticed that if I also plug in the ethernet cables for my NAS and my Arlo basestation into the satellite, the desktop suddenly has connectivity problems again. I unplugged just the Arlo from the satellite, and then connectivity slowly started working again.

Hello routerrouter,
Thank you for your post!
The desktop connection to your RBS50 indicates that the ethernet ports are functional.
Please ensure that UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled on your RBR50 then plug your devices into the network one at a time to isolate which device is causing the issue.
From Orbi's administration Home page please navigate to the following to enable UPnP on your RBR50:
- Select ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > UPnP.
The UPnP page displays. - Select or clear the Turn UPnP On
Best,
Kevin
