    All home routers have issues when placed "behind" an ISP router.  This creates what is called a "Double NAT":

    The "easy" way to avoid double NAT is to put the Orbi in AP mode, but that means all of the "router" functions would have to be done on the ISP router and each router has different capabilities.

     

    The "harder" solution is to find a way to put the ISP router into "bridge" or "passthrough" mode.  All ISP's are used to requests to do this, so a call may solve the problem for you.  Or, finding the router User Manual online.  If you post the exact brand and model number of the ISP device, someone may be familiar with how to change it.
