RBR50 Position
I live in a long narrow single storey house that has solid walls. Siting the Orbi router and satellites is tricky to get them to connect and provide adequate coverage. The loft is continuous and open...

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Thanks Furrye38, that's helpful.
My home is about 2500 sg ft. Due to the solid block walls the devices cannot be ideally placed for WiFi distribution as they won't connect. I currently have them daisy chained and the WiFi signal isn't too bad but not optimal.
The images in your first link suggest the signal is 360 degrees from each Orbi so I will try them in the roof space where they will be about 30 ft apart, in a straight line and in sight of each other. The signal will need to travel only through plasterboard ceilings into the rooms below. I've only held off trying it so far as I'll need to do some wiring of power supplies and Ethernet beforehand.

Yes each unit broadcasts in 360 degree pattern. Something you'll need try and see if your idea works or not.

The trial positioning of the Orbis has worked well. I have a stronger, wider signal throughout the house now and better coverage outside too. I just need to get on with doing the work to make the installation more permanent and neater. I'll come back if I hit any problems!
Thanks for the help so far Furry.

Glad you got it working better. Good to spread the wifi signal out farther for sure. Please mark your thread and solved so others will know.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves tine if a reset is needed.
