RBR50 Problem Download speed
I am using an ATT router modem as a pure gateway and the RBR50 Orbi Mesh (1 satellite) as the wifi router. Via wire when I connect my Macbook Pro to the ATT gateway I get near gigabit speed both for...

Sorry about late response we had a personal emergency.
I disconnectd the firewall so its out of discussion. I had already implemented your option 2. I have a PACE 5268AC that is in bridge mode. I get download speeds about 1/6 to 1/10 of the upload speeds and cannot figure out why? I went through the option 2 again and restarted both the Pasce and the Orbi. Speeds the same. Any other ideas?

Is the PACE still in bridge mode?
If it's in bridge mode, then you don't need to use the DMZ on the modem.
We need to verify that the modem is bridged, if it's bridged, then you should see a public IP address ON the Orib routers internet port, ##.##.###.###, if it isn't then you'll see a 192 or 172 or a 10 Ip address string on the Orbi
To use the DMZ on the PACE, the modem needs to be in router mode.

I would give option 3 a try with the Orbi in AP mode with the modem in router mode and test.
Compare wired test results with a different wired PC if possible

I'm having the exact same issue. I thought it was just my satellite, so they're sending me a replacment, but today the main started doing the same thing. The onyl difference is that restarting my step would fix the issue for a few days, then I'd lose all speed again. Wired works great.
