What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What version of FW are you trying to update too?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What browser are you using?

I'm trying to update from 2.0.0.74 to 2.7.2.104.
ISP modem Hitron, model # EN2251 (Spectrum)
Google Chrome on my MAC

From the release notes in the older firmware selections on the support page it states: Note:If your firmware version is 2.2.1.210 or lower, you cannot update the firmware directly to v2.3 or higher. You must first update the firmware to v2.2.1.212 using the manual firmware update feature in the router web interface. After updating the firmware to v2.2.1.212, your Orbi router reboots, and then you can update to higher versions.
Unfortunately, the lowest version on the support page is v2.3.1.44. Hopefully someone has that available for you to bump up your Router.

v212 is available on the RBK50 support page:

Select the Previous versions download towards the bottom of the FW list.
- DeanB1452Feb 03, 2021ApprenticeThanks, FURRYe38! You would think it would be the same on all 50 series support pages. RBK53s support page lists 2.3.1.44 as the lowest. Now FZ1977 has a starting point.
