my router is set up to use Ethernet cable or fitting for "internet port" my new home uses coax cable hookups...is there an adapter that enables use of ethernet to coax hookup?
thanx for your reply. noticed there is an adapter than converts female ethernet fitting to coax fitting...use this maybe?

Modem: Modulator-Demodulator (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modem ) Not a simple adapter.
Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) is the type in use these days.
