RBR50 slows to a crawl till I reboot
Firmware is current V2.7.4.24 In the last few days, I thought my internet provider was slowing down, but I have narrowed it to the RBR50 The problem clears after a reboot. What happens is ...
WOW, well thank you to all. I finally got it working but it was so weird how I did it.
I first had to go to manual update, then select a satellite (even though it said no updates were available) and then go back to Online update and login and upload the file and then run the firmware update. I had to do that for each satellite in turn and then the router .
Doesn't make sense but finally everything is up to date.
What browser are you using? Try MS Edge, Firefox or Opera.
Are the extracted FW files .IMG or .CHK?
Know that since the Orbi AC and 50 series are EoL, FW updates will not be on NGs Auto Update service so will not be anything seen by the RBRs FW update check system.
