RBR50 upgrade to V2.5.1.16 and "No Internet Connection" but Internet works

Super Cool Orbi-heads,

I have had my Orbi for a couple years and been really lucky to dodge most of the problems that people have with disconnects and other ghostly issues. To be honest, I've been really happy and talked some friends into Orbi systems. Unfortunately, I got hit this last firmware upgrade to 2.5.1.16.

After some factory resets, I'm able to get most everything working... But I have something weird going on. On the Orbi Landing page I get an internet error that "Error, NOT CONNECTED" under the Internet section. When I go to the config screen, I'm still able to pull an ip address from my ISP and the Internet works for everything. But the "Test" button also fails. Last weird thing... I can't seem to ping anything outside my network... so it makes me feel like something is blocking that functionality.

No Circle, no Parental controls, no vlans, just a vanilla install.

Anyone have any troubleshooting steps or advice? Yes I have rebooted, Yes I have rolled back Firmwares, Yes I have factory reset, Yes my ISP confirms nothing on their side (for what that's worth, who knows if they even checked).

What is the mfr and model# of your ISP modem/ONT?

Mine has been working for pat 14 days on v16:

I just updated last nite to v32:

Something you can try as well.

Sometimes a facotory reset is needed if users see problems after a FW update. I would also Power OFF the ISP modem/ONT for 1 minute then back on as well. Either while the RBR is rebooted or if you factory reset the RBR.

Was your system auto updated or did you manually download FW files and apply then your self? Manual FW update is recommended over auto update. If it was auto updated, then you may want to manually download FW files and apply them again.
