RBR50 vs RBK50

Purchased RBK50 router and sattelite, but received RBR50 router and satellite. Can anyone advise on the difference?

Thank you!

  • Just found a post from St_Shaw. Is this an accurate response?

"I don't understand your question...  The RBK50 is a kit that contains one RBR50 router and one RBS50 satellite.

The RBK50 is a kit, not a router.

If you have the RBR50, that implies you have only the router.

If you have only the router, then you have no satellites."

RBR50 is a model of the Orbi Router base unit. The RBK50 is a Orbi system kit box set that includes the RBR50 base router and a RBS50 remote satellite. These are all in the box when you buy it. I believe the RBK50 in box set is just 1 router and 1 satellite. The RBK53 is a base router and 2 satellites. https://www.netgear.com/support/product/orbi.aspx
