RBR50 wifi not working on random devices while others are fine?
I have Verizon Fios running straight to an Orbi RBR50 with two satellites. All of a sudden I have TV's not getting internet even though signal is extremely strong, SSID is showing on the screen, and ...
What fios box is it connected to?
Reason i ask is they tend to be modem/router combo devices and it causes a double nat if not setup properly.
A double nat happens when you cascade more than 1 router.

Fixes? There’s 3 options but only use 1.
1. Put the modem/gateway in modem only/pass through mode. This disables its routing functions.
2. Leave the modem/gateway in router mode but put the Netgears IP address into its DMZ. This forwards the data to the netgear. You can either leave the modem/gateway’s wireless enabled or disabled. Just make sure its using a different wifi channel to prevent interference
3. Put the Netgear into access point mode. This disables its routing functions. Wifi/ethernet still works but it does disable some features.

I have the net gear setup as both the modem and router. I have cat5 run from the plug in box from the street direct to the Orbi.
