Thanks for the reply:
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
- Think it's an Arris something or other, it's not clear as it's branded as the ISP.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and ? satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS? to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite ?
- They are probably about 20ft from the RBR and on different floors, we have some very thick walls that caused me to place them closer to get the best performance and range. Especially covering out into the garden and into the loft where we have a room and with just one RBS the coverage was poor.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
- Using Ch 48 and Ch 13 as others have local wifi on them from neighbouring properties
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
- c10 other wifi signals picked up. All on different channels to those I am using
Is Armor, Circle or Traffic Meter enabled?
- SPC is enabled, no Armour or TM

Also try turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 50% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

- SPC is enabled, no Armour or TM <Possible SPC could be slowing things down. A factory reset maybe needed and setup from scratch and don't enable SPC to see if this changes anything.

Thanks again.

- It an Arris TG3492LG-VMB does have wifi built in, but it is off.

- I'll have a crack at that

- Had a horrid feeling you were going to suggest a FR 🤣 - will keep this in reserve. Have had issues with SPC slowing down specific traffic (Playstation network traffic defo looks throttled to me, but everything else seems fine)
What's most odd with all this is that it was an issue that went away for a decent amount of time and is now back, despite nothing obvious changing. Hey-ho, will start with the power output and see how things go from there.
Cheers

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop- c10 other wifi signals picked up.
