I have an RBR50 router and want to delete a device no longer using this router, but when I click on it in the Orbi app, and the device details open with "Delete this Device" at the bottom...after I c...
The error message is saying that you cannot change the status of the device that is running the Orbi app right now.
i.e. the "Admin Device"
When Apple and Android made "use a fake MAC address on WiFi" the default instead of "Use actual hardware MAC address", Orbi systems began to fill up with multiple MAC addresses for the same iPhone, iPad, Android phone, etc.
Probably would be a good idea to double check the MAC address on the device you want to delete against the MAC address reported in the Connected Devices information.
