Can I add a newer version of satellite to my existing ORBI RBR50 mesh system ie RBS760
Based on the table the answer is no, at BEST Buy they insisted it works but at lower speed.l ( speed limited to RBR50) . I guess they are wrong ?
The best buy people are wrong. The chart is what you should go with.
Are you needing more satellites or faster speeds?
Some of the older satellites can be picked up pretty cheap on flea bay or buying a refurbished kit (then you get a backup router).

So true. I just purchased a used RBS750 satellite from eBay and am annoyed that routers go for less than half what satellite are selling for. Guess if a person has no router, then buying something this out-of-date makes little sense. Whereas "just one more satellite" is a lot more attractive than what we used to call a fork lift upgrade (replace everything!)
