Hi Internet speed to the router is about 950 Mbps. Connecting a laptop via Ethernet cable (installed in the wall) the speed falls to about 150 Mpbs measured at the laptop. Wifi connection to a nearb...
Usually we see the reverse. The satellite slowing it down. Are you using any parental controls, traffic monitoring, disney circle, armor? You can try disabling those.
Also try a different device hardwired in. Could be the laptop
Yes slower would be more logical but not the case. I have tested it with a couple of different laptops. For some reason the satellite is doing a better job with Ethernet backhaul than a was the case with a direct Ethernet connection. Thanks B
