RBR50v2 does not allow some devices to connect to the Internet
I just installed a RBR50v2 and it was a disappointment. I will be greatly obliged if anyone can help me out. I had to set up the system with a phone (what a joke!, this should have altered me) an...

The point is really moot. As I said, I can get to the router by going to 192.168.1.1.
Thanks for the response.

All done!!!!
I am still not sure how it all worked out, but I found the key in "Access Control" page on the web interface. I had to delete some of the unconnected devices and then add them on again. Somehow, that seems to have worked.
All devices are now connected and everything appears to be fine.
Still disappointed with Netgear's instructions for set up -- they could have added a set up guide a few pages long. It would have been so much easier than monkeying around with the phone app.
Thanks for the hints, plemans.

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Thanks for the hint. Given that I cannot quite remember the things I monkeyed with, it is very good advice!!
Another thing I do not get is that orbilogin.net never works. It takes to me to Netgear's homepage. Why do they not say that one can get to the router by using 192.168.1.1?

Yes. I always use the routers IP address. đ

Hello jeyroc888 ,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand that you were having trouble finding the IP address for your router. By default your router's IP address will be either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. These IPv4 addresses can be used to access your Orbi admin page for additional configuration options.

You misunderstand.
My message said that I *can* find the way to my router using the IP address. On the contrary, *all* of the Netgear pages suggest going to orbiliogin.com or orbilogin.net. Neither takes you to the router ... they lead you to the Netgear homepage and the instructions there ask you to use the web address .... and so you are stuck in a merry loop that goes nowhere.
Perhaps, that can be fixed sometime? Or, why not ask people to use the IP address.
Yes, still disappointed with Netgear.
