RBR50v2 will not connect with alexa

Hi I have an Orbi RVR50V2 it will not connect with Alexa. I have powered them both down, unplugged them and Alexa turns red and asked to do the same thing again.

    I'd make contact with Google to see about help and support regarding there product.

    It would help to have more detail about how you are attempting to use the Alexa Netgear skill.  What device are you speaking to?  (i.e. what is "turning red"?)

     

    The Netgear skill does not get fantastic reviews on Amazon:

    I am concerned that Step 1 of installing the Netgear skill for Alexa is to turn on Remote Management on the router.  Netgear removed Remote Management from the Orbi product line when the Orbi 'app' was introduced.
