Need help the current setup is the rbr40 is the Ap connected to the wall satellite which came in the package, I bought the rbs20 to increase coverage, I like in a 10000 sq.ft home with thick walls. Kindly suggest how or what settings I can change on the rbs20 to get the full bandwidth speed ?
help much appreciated
You say you have a 10,000 sq ft home? That is a lot of required coverage for what you have. The RBR40 combined with the wall satellite, plus adding the RBS20 may not get you the desired coverage you want or need. When you say get full bandwidth speed on the RBS20, how far is it from the RBR4 which is going to determine your backhaul connection. Then your WIFI speed on your device will depend on how close you are to the RBS20 or any other satellite.
Can you explain positioning distance of the orbi router and satellites?

Also I tried changing the setting from the orbi being a router to an AP. Does this help ?
should I use a gigabit switch in my set up.
thanks,

The main router and the rbs20 satellite are about 50 ft apart. It does catch signal as I tried to connect it wirelessly and it was blinking magenta through out. When I wired the rbs20 then standing right next to it I'm getting on 90 to 95 mbps.
