I seem to remember reading posts that the Orbi "Add a satellite" function is limited to displaying three satellites at one time. People report using a "work around" to have more than three satellites:
- Add satellites using the Orbi web interface, not the Orbi "app".
- Once there are three satellites, adding more requires a "trick"
- Power off one of the existing satellites.
- Wait until the Orbi Attached Devices page shows the satellite as "Disconnected" and ignore the option to delete it.
- Use the "Add a satellite" procedure to sync another satellite.
- Power that existing satellite back on.
What appears to be going on is that the web page for Adding a satellite can only handle three satellites, whereas the Orbi router can be connected to as many as six. (I have not seen reports of more than six. Who knows how many would work?)
