RBS20 out of stock everywhere

Why is it the RBS20 is oout of stock everywhere? Is this item discontinued?

I can think of two possibilities: (a) the pandemic has disrupted Netgear's supply chain and the "slow boat from China" has not arrived, or (b) Netgear has "moved on" from the 2016 technology to WiFi6 and does not see enough profit in manufacturing more of the old Orbi units. Neither of these is particularly helpful when someone needs "just one more satellite" to complete a home WiFi network.
