RBS20 shows up dozens of times in ADVANCED -> Administration -> Firmware Update for RBR50

My setup is as follows:

  • RBR50 with V2.5.1.8
  • RBS50 (connected to RBR50 via ethernet through a gigabit network switch) with V2.5.1.8
  • RBS20 (connected to RBR50 via ethernet through a gigabit network switch) with V2.5.1.16

Oddly, the RBS20 shows up dozens of times (see older screenshot) in the "Firmware Update" section of "Administration" in "ADVANCED". I've tried resetting the satellites, rebooting everything, etc. The only thing I have not tried is a factory reset, which I would like to try to avoid.

What can I do to fix this? Is a factory reset the only way?

Does "resetting" the satellite mean you did a  "Factory Reset"?

You could try power off the satellite. When the Orbi web interface Attached Devices shows the satellite as "Disconnected", select the option to remove the satellite.  Then, Factory Reset the satellite and use the web interface to "Add" it again.

The screen shot did not come through.  Perhaps put it as an attachment ("Browse" button at the bottom left of the input screen)?

Yes, I performed a factory reset of the satellite. I also tried regular power cycling, which also did not work. I will try to perform the workflow you suggested and will report back.

After attempting to press the "Remove" button around 7 times, the RBS20 disappeared from the list. Re-adding it seems to have done the trick. See attached screenshots. Thank you!
