RBS40 Power Adapter Plug Size
I purchased 4 Mini UPS power supplies that are supposed to sit between the router and the mains (wall). You are supposed to use the devices (in this case the Netgear Orbis) original power supply to plug into the the wall and also into the UPS. The UPS has a 5.5x2.5mm male output and that plugs into the Orbi Router no problems. The UPS has a 5.5x2.5mm female input BUT the Netgear Orbis power adapter plug wont fit into it???? WTF...... is Netgear using some kind of propriety size plug? Does anyone know what size it is?

Where are you?
Netgear's power adapters vary from market to market. Not much point in supplying a US plug for people in the UK, or vice versa.
Can you, plug your Orbi adapter into the wall? I'd expect the UPS have the same inputs as the wall.

This is a mini ups not a socket ups. I'm based in Malaysia (basically UK models). The idea is that you use the Orbis power adapter to plug into the mini ups then plug the Router into the mini ups. But the Orbis power adapter tip does not fit into a traditional 5.5MM x 2.5MM. It appears much larger.
The Orbis power adapter is 12V 3.5A but apparently NOT a traditional 5.5MM x 2.5MM tip???

I don't know what you mean by "traditional". There are many different tips on adapters. My experience is that Netgear tips are pretty universal. But they are not the usual 5/6 volt adaptors for USB levels of power.
I still do not follow what your UPS does. The only tip that matters is the one that goes into the router.
The input for the Orbi is also pretty standard. You don't need to use its adapter to provide power. Just something with the right volts and enough amps. If the UPS is supposed to work with different types of device, then I would expect it to provide a selection of cables.
