RBS40V-200. Alexa not registered!

So I recently switched from my RBR50 with two Satellites one of them being the RBS40V-200. I know they aren't compatible unless I put the RBS40V in extender mode. I was able to do that and get it connected to my network. But when I try to use Alexa it tells me "it looks like your orbi voice is not registered for help go to the netgear or Orbi App". Not sure what to do to get that working again. I had no issue before with the old network. I have gone to the app but i dont see anything about registering. Is this funcation just no usabe in extender mode? To me its crazy that upgrading has pretty much turned this into a brick.

Thanks in advance.

Also before a link is sent to tell me to post in the Voice forum that i know is out there, When I click the link everyone post it tells me that I am denied permission.

Something to try, with the old system on line, Does the RBR40v work with that system while in extender mode?

Might check any documentation for the RBS40v or online support articles to see of NG mentions Alexa uses in satellite or extender mode. https://www.netgear.com/search/

Hoping that someone in this forum can help out if they have this one.

I no longer have the old system to try that on.

      Thanks for the suggestion.

At one time there was a separate Community Forum for the Voice satellite.  Those discussions were moved into the general forum for the original Orbi WiFi5 products some time ago. (I don't remember when.)
