RBS40V firmware V2.5.1.6

Using orbilogin.com to check on firmware updates for my RBR50, RBS50 & RBS40V, I see that there is a firmware update to the Orbi Voice, to V2.5.1.6, from V2.5.1.2. My other two devices are at V2.5.1....

I did the update and haven't had any issues. here's the release notes:

 

Bug Fixes:

  • The RBS40V sometimes broadcasted a non-secured SSID when connecting to the Orbi network.
  • The device link rate sometimes displayed incorrectly for devices connected to the RBS40V.
  • KKBOX could not be displayed in the Orbi app in the Macau area.
  • Fixes some security issues.

    Updated when installed, works perfectly with no issues.
