Rbs40v showing region japan while rbr50 router is showing region north america

I have an Rbs40v, running 2.6.1.4 firmware, connected to an rbr50, running firmware 2.7.1.60. The rbr50 (and my rbs50) correctly showing region as North America, the Rbs40v shows region as Japan. I...

    I reuturned the unit to Amazon and got anew unit.

    new unit works perfectly.

I double checked the box and the unit is an Rbs40v-200nas
