RBS50 - Continually Blinking White Including After Reset
Hi, My RBS50 (up to now working mostly flawlessly for 3 years or so) dropped off the network last night and started blinking white on the ring. I tried a couple of power cycle, and then a reboot on t...

Hello jtsock ,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand that your RBS50 is continually blinking white after a factory reset. The behavior usually occurs when the RBR and the RBS are on different FW versions. Please check your RBR50 firmware version to ensure it is on the same firmware as your RBS50. If the firmware versions are different please update your Orbi mesh system to the firmware version 2.7.5.4.

Thanks for getting back. The router and both satellites (one is still working fine) are/were all on 2.7.4.24 firmware. It doesn't feel like a firmware conflict issue to me because after a factory reset (it has now been reset multiple times) the satellite should have no knowledge of the router it was previously connected to, and my understanding was is only attempting to connect to router when pulsing white (sadly it never gets that far).

If you can gain access to the RBS web page, update FW on the RBS first then update the RBR lastly.

I can't gain access to the RBS web page, tried 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.250. The only time I can get a network connection out of the unit is by invoking the procedure for TFTP. I am able to carry out the TFTP process fine, (at least goes as expected) but when the firmware image is uploaded there is no discernible change in behavior (still continues to blink white).

Last resort would be to try a 30-30-30 reset on the RBS to see if this can bring it back into a good state and re-sync it with the RBR. I would try using the RBRs web page to add the RBS.
I would guess that if any of this fails to get the RBS working properly, the RBS may need to be replaced.
