RBS50 Bricked?

I tried this but my pc doesn't even recognize the satellite as being connected. Sadly im out of warranty period and outta luck it seems.

how do you know your sat is not connected? What are you looking at? What's connected to the sat?

Connected directly to PC, pc sees cable as unplugged. Tried several cables/pcs. The reason I tried direct connection to PC is to attempt a TFTP fw upgrade. Without anything connected I tried syncing, it never syncs and the factory reset button does nothing no matter how long I press it.

  Oh, dear. The PC has tiny activity LED's on the ethernet jack and they do not light up when the satellite is connected?

  Most use the Orbi router login to view their network status. Is that where you're at?
