RBS50 Config Sync and Waiting For Connection

Mac OS 11.5.2

RBR50  V2.7.3.22 (No new firmware version available)

RBS50  V2.7.3.22  (Waiting for connection)

Units are about 50 feet apart.

In IOS app, says satellite offline

Browser shows RBS50 waiting for connection under firmware update

Browswer shows Backhaul Status "Config Sync" for RBS50

I've rebooted both, didn't help.

Firmware appears to be current and matching router.

Router and Satellite are "connected" via WiFi, not wired.

The Satellite is sort of working - some devices are connecting to it and working, but...

Issues: 

1.  Devices which are closer to the router than satellite are connecting to the satellite instead of router.  Most will have internet.

2.  My 16" MacBook Pro will connect randomly to one or the other and when connected to the satellite, I'll have no internet.

3.  Slow internet speeds (was fine a couple weeks ago, ISP just came out and couldn't figure out Orbi issues).

4.  Clearly something is wrong due to error message above.

Any ideas?
