RBS50 Manually Configure IP Address
Hello, I have a RBR50 which I manually configured the LAN interface and changed to AP Mode. Now I cannot change the IP on the LAN interface. However, I cannot configure the RBS50 LAN interface ...

I have two problems. First, I cannot set the IP on the RBR50 when it's in AP Mode. I suppose I can switch back to Router Mode, adjust the IP, and switch back to AP Mode.
Second, and most important, I wish to manually configure the IP on the RBS50. I do not wish to use DHCPD to provide an IP to the RBS50. It seems odd that one cannot manually configure an IP on the $249.99 device. Even the cheap GS108E will let me manaully configure it's IP.

Yes, you'll need to set router mode on the RBR then AP mode, then select Static IP and configure static IP then.

RBS do not have any way to set a static IP address on the RBS. So you'll need to set a IP address reservation on the host router for your RBS.

I want to manually set the IP address on this network device. I do not want my RBS50 on the same network as my devices. I realize I cannot vlan off the RBS50 but I would prefer to at least put it a separate /29 so regular client devices cannot access it.

Just set a IP address reservation for the RBS on your host router. This will avoid them having same IP addresses and you'll be able to connect to the RBS web page using same IP address which will not change as long as you keep the IP address reservation ON the host router set.
As long as the sub net is the same on the host router and everything is connected to the same router on the LAN site, any and all devices will have access to the RBS web page. You can't really stop that. Just the way Networking works. Been like this for years.
