RBS50 v2 random reboots

I have had the same Orbi system connected to Spectrum since 2016. In all that time, the satellite has never spontaneously
- Dropped the connection to the router, or
- Rebooted.
I "feel your pain" because this is simply not supposed to happen - ever. Some questions:
- What is the symptom that alerts you to this happening?
- Does it ever resolve by itself? i.e. the connection comes back without any action being taken?
- Does any message appear in the log file around the time that this happens?

None of these settings should have any bearing on the problem. In general, it is marginally better to have them on in 2023 because so many devices now support those features (which they did not support back in 2016 when the product was first introduced.) But then, it's not supposed to happen at all... so this isn't much help.
I would be tempted to wonder about reliability of the power supply. Maybe a loose plug or something. Not likely, but then....?
Yes, the RBR50 product has never been updated to give customers the option of preventing automatic firmware updates (which Netgear finally did on the more recent products) It is possible to prevent the router from doing an automatic firmware update, as this internet resource describes:
If you block firmware updates and the problem still occurs, then it must be something else.
