RBS50 with Newer Router

Had a lightning strike that killed the RBR50 Router.  I have two RBS50 Satellites.  Are they compatable with the newer routers or do I have to stick with the RBR50?  I would like to make the smartest purchase possible.

Thanks!

No, the original WiFi5 "residential" Orbi satellites integrate only with the original Orbi routers.  Not the "Pro".  Not the "AX" models.  There are vague hints that "sometime" they may integrate with the new AX over WiFi, but no promise.  My thought is, "when pigs fly."

Apparently the original satellites will integrate with the newer AX Orbi router only if connected with wireless backhaul.  Having neither wireless backhaul nor the new AX models, I have no experience to draw on.

Current RBS50 will only connect to Orbi AX via wired ethernet only. No idea if or when NG will make them wirelessly compatible.
