RBS50Y - Any firmware in the pipeline since 2.3.5.32

I have an RBS50Y attached to my RBR50 +2 sats wifi network set up in AP mode.

The RBS50Y seems to disconnect almost monthly like clockwork.

Cant say I could nail it down to router firmware or the RBS50 firmware but I tend to think the latter as I downgraded the router and the issue continues.

So I'm hopeful there may be a firmware fix ...

    Hi steve8411,

We currently do not have a beta firmware for the RBS50Y. I'll reach out to our product teams to possibly get an ETA on the next firmware release.

    Regards,

    Christian

      Anything new on this?

The same model just received another update for use with Orbi Pro models..

      Bug Fixes:

      • Fixes a DNS problem that intermittently causes loss of connectivity
      • Fixes the issue where MAC ACL entries can be lost
      • Fixes the issue where the third radio can stop working after Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) detects radar presence on a channel too many times
      • Fixes the issue where the Insight app or Insight Cloud portal show incorrect information in the device dashboard page when there are multiple attached devices
      • Fixes the issue where the password can be recovered only if the user name is 'admin'
      • Updates the HTTP Certificate

This seems like some applicable fixes that may solve my problem.

Can we get a version compatible with the standard ORBI rather than the Pro?

How far away is the RBS50Y from the closest sat or router? Have you tried resetting  and re-pairing the RBS50Y, since the RBR50 firmware downgrade?
