RBS50Y Available in Australia
I have a rooftop terrace and would like to put an orbi up there but I don’t have the best protection for a normal one. I’m wanting to see if the outdoor extender (RBS50Y) is available in Australia? and can it be connected to my Orbi RBR750?
And if it’s not available in Australia, can I purchase from the US and be able to connect and use it?

It was an early release, so no guarantees about newer versions.

The RBS50Y has two modes:
- Orbi satellite, compatible only with the original Orbi product line (not the newer AX), and
- WiFi extender, compatible with any brand/model of WiFi router, including the Netgear AX products.
Since the primary system is a 750 (AX), there is no particular advantage to using the RBS50Y over any other brand of WiFi extender. Amazon shows lots of WiFi extenders rated for outdoors. (even one by Netgear)
There would be advantages to deploying a true satellite compatible with the 750 router, such as the RBS750 or RBS350, (which apparently can be connected, see comment #3 of this post: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-WiFi-6-AX-and-WiFi-6E-AXE/Hooking-up-RBS350-to-RBR750/m-p/2188146 Beats me how this can be possible, (dual band syncing with tri band, etc.)
What users do in this situation is place the WiFi extender in a weatherproof enclosure:
