RBS50Y Will not sync, blue light is solid but states " failed to connect "
Hi,i cannot tel which Firmware is on RBS50Y, trying to sync it with RBR50 ( they were synced until a few days ago. I need to know how to check Firmware and update it on RBS if needed.

If you are absolutely sure you factory reset the Orbi yard, and you tried pairing it in the same room as the router, but are still failing, it is possible that the device is defective.

If you have not yet, try this method:
When router is powered on, press the reset button and hold for 30 seconds. (Use a paper clip or something sharp)
While holding the reset button pressed, unplug the power of the router and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
While still holding the reset button down, turn on the power to the unit again and hold for another 30 seconds.

IF the RBSY will not sync, I would inspect the RBSY case. There have been some forum posts reports that the seal on the RBSY fails thus users have found moisture or water inside the unit. I would make contact with NG support to see what your options are if you can't get the RBSY to sync.
