So, I have an Orbi mesh system , a RBR50 with 3 satellites. I have a device that can only connect to the 2.4 GHZ band. Is there a way to either temp. turn off the 5ghz until the device connects or fo...

This is SO disappointing. The Wyze Cam V3 has only a 2.4G radio:
https://support.wyze.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051119371-Wyze-Cam-v3-Tech-Specs
Read it in black and white.
Connectivity
2.4GHz WiFi
It is (literally) impossible for the Wyze Cam V3 to detect a 5G WiFi signal. Just as it cannot detect AM/FM radio or detect cordless phone signals. Just not possible. That tech is either incompetent or misinformed.
I have had mixed results when contacting tech support (not Wyze, but many other companies). Sometimes I call back and get a rep who is better prepared. (Digression: I once had a problem with my cable TV 'tuning adapter'. Spectrum rolled a technicial who replaced the tuning adapter with both of the units on his truck. Neither worked. He then met another tech and got the two adapters on that truck. After eight hours, he said, "I dunno. My shift is over" and left. He had called into Spectrum at least 12 times (gone through the whole phone tree mess and everything). Before driving to the Spectrum store to swap for a 5th tuning adapter, I called Spectrum customer service. Got a nice woman who said, "Hold on. Your account is coded incorrectly. Can you try it again?" Sure enough, worked fine.
Can you make one more call?
And, can you try to configure it in the same room as the Orbi router?

So a little FYI - the WYZE Cams don't need the speed 5 GHz networks provide. They need distance. The 2.4 GHz network provides the greatest disatnce so that's the radio they included.
Not including a 5 GHz radio helps keep costs down too.
I've got a few Wyze Cams myself and only have isseus with them dropping of fthe network at times. The issue isn't them, but the Firmware Netgear threw out there on the routers and satellites. I know this to be true as they are not the only devices with thiis issue among other things.
