Netgear Orbi RBK50 DDNS issue
Hi Netgear community,
I have a Netgear Orbi RBK50 Firmware V2.1.4.16 and do not think the DDNS function is updating my host at NO-IP.COM.
The service is configured with the right hostname...
- Sep 19, 2018This happens sometimes with me. I also have DDNS from No-IP.com. When this happen I just disable DDNS by unticking "Use a Dynamic DNS Service" then Apply the changes and then do the opposite. The DDNS status will show correctly after that --> xxxxxxx updated successfully at 11:01 PM, 09/18/2018

I got this message this time:
xxxxxxxxxx.ddns.net updated successfully at 08:05 PM, 09/19/2018
Netgear needs to fix up the firmware eventually.

Glad to hear you got it fixed! Thank you for your help on this ekhalil.
Engineers are working to resolve these issues in future firmwares.

This issue occurs almost always after restart of the router. alfred56, Christian_R
I have to go to the DDNS setting every time the router is restarted and deactivate/activate to get DDNS working again!

Sounds like maybe NG enginneering could make a improvement upon the refresh function of this feature.Glad you figured it out.
