No joy. I find that it's okay on 5ghz backhaul but problems happen when it moves to 2.4Ghz backhaul. Strange thing is that on 5Ghz backhaul has good connection so dont know whn it falls back to 2.4ghz in the first place.
Also tried using as an AP but still has the same problem with satalite dropping when the backhaul is 2.4Ghz.
Not sure what to try next?

What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz. Answer: Tried all. Currenly back on auto.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many? Answer: Hardly any (a couple on channel 6).
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings Answer: Already enabled.
Try disabling the following and see: Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Answer: Cant diable Daisy Chain as needed to get good reception across the house. Others are disabled.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? Answer: Yes, including from the sotware then hard factory resetting each unit.

Ok, possible that your system or the RBS maybe faulty. Something I would open a support ticket and get more help from NG support. As about an RMA.
