Well at least the WAN and LAN ports are Gb supporting and not 100Mb.

Five (5) 10/100/1000 (1 WAN and 4 LAN) Gigabit Ethernet ports

So if they can bridge the modem, it should be ok for there needs.

Try to find a modem only unit with out a built in router. You don't need a built in router if your going to use a external router like the Orbi.
