RBR50 Constant Reboot (every 30 seconds)
Hi, I have been using Orbi (RBR50 + 1 x RBS50) since last 3 years. I had no issues whatsoever. Since last week, RBR50 has been restarting every 30 seconds. I have tried updating to the latest firmwa...

Not that one of the LAN ports on the RBR50 is connected to the primary router? No matter what mode is used, the RBR50 must be connected through the WAN port. - Access Point (AP) mode does not block users from the Orbi web browser interface. In AP mode, the Orbi does not resolve URLs into IP addresses, so http://orbilogin.net does not get translated to the Orbi IP address. Use a web browser with the actual IP address that the Orbi was assigned by the primary router.
I am also puzzled by mention of the TP-Link Archer. How many routers are in the network? There MUST be at least one router (often provided by the Internet Service Provider).

Thanks for this. I was using one of the LAN ports to connect the RBR50 to the primary router. It seemed to work partially - some eccentric behaviour including regularly changing IP address (despite an address reservation on the primary router), also occasional reboots. This was with the WAN port unused. However, when I decided to use the WAN port for another device on the LAN, the RBR50 started rebooting continuously, purple light, totally unstable.
After reading your message, I switched the primary router uplink to the WAN port and the other device to the LAN port... and the router so far seems more stable.
Clearly this is the more "logical" configuration but for various reasons I wasn't using the WAN port before.
