RBR50 is constantly dropping connection wirelessly after a factory reset and firmware upgrade
I'm having a situation where my Orbi RBR50 crapped out a couple of weeks ago (no connection, couldn't log onto the device any longer) for an unknown reason, as nothing in my setup had changed. I had ...

I had a similar problem recently, which seems to be resolved now, for going on 24 hours. I just posted a response to someone else who also seems to have the same issue here.
It seems that anything that was peer-to-peer, or, possibly, where the IP address had already been resolved, continued working, whereas anything requiring DNS name resolution failed. I was already on the current firmware that you just upgraded to when my problem began. I'm still unsure of the exact problem, but it seems to somehow be related to DNS queries passing through the satellite. I don't know if the satellite just stops passing on the DNS requests to the router at some point, if the router fails to resolve them, if the router fails to pass along the resolved IP address, or if the satellite either doesn't receive or pass on to the requesting device the answer, but the problem appears to be something along those lines.
Recommend trying to factory reset the satellite, pair it with the router again if necessary, and see if that resolves it, to avoid the hassle of a factory reset of the router, which is what I ultimately ended up doing. I haven't had any problems for going on 24 hours now, but it's a pain to reconfigure everything.

Hey thanks a lot for taking the time to reach out with this possible solution. I really appreciate it. I'm giving it a go now!

IF your factory reset does NOT help, your problem MAY be related to 2.7. 2.104.

I am seeing my iOS devices constantly having issues. The WiFi will appear connected, but internet is inaccessible. I have to toggle WiFi off and on, and then sometimes it comes back quickly and sometimes not. I have tried using manually set external DNS servers, but that doesn't seem to change the behavior. This has happened for a while, even before I upgraded to 2.7.2.104 firmware.
