In the future you might want to look up the MAC address. Take the first three pairs (say AD:01:A1) go online and use one of the free tools. They will tell you make and model. That helped me more than once to figure out who or what it was.

I believe he's saying that there are free tools online that you can use with identifying MAC addresses to Mfrs and devices.
