Does that sound right? I really lack the understanding of how a wifi mesh system works to truely know if it's the orbi or the devices. and yes I've had this issue with the google mesh system I had previously. I switch to the orbi thinking it would solve the problem.
Not sure your combos are synching with anything other than the Orbi, unless they do some sort of file sharing (music, etc) between each player.. If all is well with only one como audio on I would look closer at the setup of each of those devices.
Any help from the como audios manufacturer ? If so, make sure you mention the Orbi and the mesh network.

They all have the ability to all play the same station/vinyl across each device similar to a Sonos system except the comos have a built in radio streaming ability in each stand alone device. Tom who created the como system has been responsive but we have never been able to come up with a fix. That’s kind of why I reached out to the Orbi community hoping someone here might have an answer. Thanks so much for taking the time!

Not sure if this is your problem, but came across it in the owners manual:
Keep network connected
This option allows you to define whether the unit remains connected to its network in standby
mode. This is necessary for App operation, audio streaming in Music Player mode, and recapturing
the time after a power outage (if Auto Update from Network is selected). We strongly recommend
keeping the network connected.
Note: This option is forced to ‘Yes’ when part of a multi-room group. - jkraNov 15, 2019Aspirant
thanks for the thought. I do have the multi group on, so it's by default turned on. I have been pairing different units this morning after seeing that a solo unit does not drop the signal. I have found two of the units work well together with no drops so far. One of the other units does drop when connected. So, it's either that the distance is too far for the comos to synch or some other problem. Seems specific to the Como's so i thank you all for taking the time and i will go back to trying and figure out whats going on with the como audio devices themselves.

Nice troubleshooting
Yeah, I was also going to suggest to bring all the comos close together (same room or table top) and work from there. Then one by one move them to the desired location.
