ReadyShare

So ReadyShare is not available on Orbi yet? I just installed my new Orbi and love the connection to my basement now, but with my nighthawk I had a external USB connected I use for Plex media server. I don't see anyway in the Orbi UI to set up readyshare and don't see my hard drive listed in my network. what is the point of having a usb 2.0 port without readyshare?? i guess they plan to add this later, like I read they will with guest network???

    simple answer at this stage is NOT

     

    the orbi usb is not yet functional and at this stage there has been no word as to if and when it will be

     

    and although you read that guest network may be added its also not confirmed yet

    with regeard to your media sharing needs far better solution is to go buy yourself a real nas enclosure and stick that hdd in it , i have a nas that can do transcoding as well which makes a huge difference to streaming
